All families are encouraged to join! The School Accountability Committee uses data to advise the principal in making school-wide decisions regarding our school budget, school goals, staffing, and more. Please join us for this important advisory committee.

What is the SAC?
The School Accountability Committee (SAC) is an advisory committee composed of 5–7 elected
members, including:
● Principal or Principal's Designee
● At least one Teacher
● At least three Parents of students enrolled in the school
● At least one Adult Member of a school recognized group (PTSA)
● At least one Community Member
Requirements: Representatives must reflect our student population. Parent and community
representatives cannot be employed by the district/school. The Chair or Co-Chair must be a parent.
Meeting Agenda & Focus Areas
● Officer Nominations & Elections: Nominate and elect the SAC Chair and other members for
the upcoming school year.
● Annual Planning & Resources: Determine the meeting schedule and areas of focus for the
year.
● Data & Performance Review: Review the School Performance Framework (SPF), and
school data.
● Unified Improvement Plan (UIP): Review and provide feedback on the UIP prior to the
October 15 submission deadline.
● Parent Engagement: Review the district's parent engagement policy and brainstorm action
items.
