Congratulations to our principal, Leigh Hiester, who has been awarded the 2021 CO-CABE President’s Award by the Colorado Association for Bilingual Education (CO-CABE) board of directors, given to recognize an individual for contributions made to the field of bilingual education in Colorado.
Ms. Leigh was selected for her "courageous leadership and commitment to bilingual education evidenced in her almost twenty years as director of one of the most innovative and equity-based bilingual programs in the state. The recent expansion of Foster Dual Language School to include middle school grades ensures Foster will remain at the forefront of innovative bilingual programs in Colorado and beyond."
